From day one: Supported and structured onboarding

Infobip is built on an engineering mindset and we take pride in that. As engineers, we take learning as an inseparable part of the job. In order to boost the learning curve we have a structured approach to onboarding:

Upon joining all engineers go through our engineering specific onboarding - our Engineering Onboarding Program that continuously runs from 2019. Program takes place on-site (in Infobip headquarters in Vodnjan) as a one week set of lectures and workshops, giving the new joiners overview of organisational structure, culture and inner workings of Infobip engineering before arriving in their target teams.

It is a set of engineering technical sessions delivered by our experienced engineers, product managers and other department stakeholders with topics ranging from organizational info, agile principles, product management, corporate IT, infrastructure overview, data, our core platform, data, security, AI, observability, DevEx and more.

It's worth highlighting that the relationship between engineering and product is central to product success - closer to a partnership than a handoff. Getting familiar with how the product side thinks and works from day one is key to collaborating in a way that multiplies the impact of our products and our success from the very beginning.

Along with sessions, participants are engaged in group work, developing and deploying a project that familiarizes them with all important aspects of Infobip's ecosystem.

After joining the target team each new engineer gets a personalized, structured onboarding plan and a dedicated mentor to fill any knowledge gaps and support further growth through 1on1 sessions and teamwork.

Continuous growth is further assured through our yearly IPC process, defining individual development items for each engineer.

Infobip engineers also have access to a range of internal learning resources that cover how all parts of the company work - from explaining our products and underlying technologies to legal, compliance and security aspects.
